4) MEDIVH – Pietra
MEDIVH‘s new single, Pietra, is an atmospheric and dreamy track that aims to capture the feeling of walking through a city at night. The guitar-washed-out shoegaze style gives this song an ambient feel, but it’s still rockin’ enough for listeners to get their groove on.
With its dream pop vocals and cinematic soundscape, it could easily be used as background music in a film or TV show.
The band is based in Italy, Montevarchi, which makes them perfect candidates for being discovered by the international music scene—and they’re already making waves! Check out their stuff on Spotify right now!
5) • ABISSO • – Son Of Abyss
• ABISSO • is an indie experimental artist based in Italy, Sardegna. He has released an album called Son Of Abyss that’s a mix of ambient, cinematic, and instrumental tracks.
The album has a nostalgic feel to it—like you’re listening to music from a time long ago. It sounds like an old-timey soundtrack to a movie you’ve never seen before.
It’s quirky, relaxing, and cinematic at the same time—which makes for a soundscape that’s perfect for listening to when you’re working on productions or just need a new musical component for your work.
The album’s most outstanding track is ‘Khobalto.’ I recommend you check out this artist on Spotify and listen to their other tracks!
6) JADAMARIE – Love??
There’s a lot to love about JADAMARIE. The first thing that grabbed me was the name—a mash-up of two names that are so sweet and simple, I can’t help but smile every time I hear them. But it’s not just the name that’s sweet: JADAMARIE’s music is, too.
JADAMARIE’s latest single, “Love??,” is an alternative neo-soul track that gives off a dreamy vibe, with vocals that are soft and silky smooth (but not too much).
The music reminds me of some of my favourite chillwave bands from years ago—bands like Washed Out or Toro y Moi. The guitar work is simple but evocative—at times it feels like you’re sitting on a porch swing in front of a burning fire on a cool autumn night.
It’s nostalgic and hypnotic at once; it draws you in and makes you want to just take your time listening to it. This song is perfect for winding down after a long day or getting ready for bed before hitting the sheets—it has just enough energy in its melody to keep things interesting. Check out her singles and follow the artist on Spotify.
7) STEP INTO THE KITCHEN – The Cream of Portland’s Gourmet Set
Portland, OR-based artist STEP INTO THE KITCHEN‘s new single, The Cream of Portland’s Gourmet Set, is a blissful mix of psychedelic art-pop and cinematic retro. It’s a soundtrack to a dramatic scene—probably one that takes place in an old-fashioned kitchen and features female vocals.
The song starts out with a chaotic enjoyable sound from the first note. Then it builds up layer upon layer of sound until it becomes a full-blown crescendo.
There are moments when the vocals come through pretty clearly, but they’re mostly drowned out by the instrumentals. The song is really more about the atmosphere than it is about any individual part. It’s morre about having fun, and this fun misture of sounds worked well for the purpose.
It reminds me of what would happen if you took an old movie score and turned it into a song—only maybe even better than that sounds! Follow the artist on Spotify.
8) CHRIS IANUZZI – Maze
The new album by Chris Iannuzzi, Maze, is a post-punk, avant-garde, electronic experimental masterpiece. It’s also an industrial beat adventure that will keep you on your toes and leave you wanting more.
The album sounds like it was made in the space due to the very “intergalactic” effects, but don’t let that fool you—it’s actually very present, fresh, new experimental music that’s been released by an independent artist. Check the track Setagagaya, it’s trippy and crazy, in a good way.
The songs are full of energy and creativity, but they’re also polished and well-produced. It’s the kind of album you can listen to many times to the best soundtrack to your production, without getting bored!
Check the other artist’s releases and follow him o Spotify.
9) BUDDOG18 – Expermerntal Belladonn
BUDDOG18 is an indie experimental electronic act based in Northampton, Pennsylvania. The artist’s music is a blend of avant-garde soundscapes with leftfield elements and a soundtrack characteristic, it’s about transporting to other ambient, that’s why this kind of music is very used by the film industry.
The single “Expermerntal Belladonn” is a perfect example of what makes BUDDOG18 uncommon. It features slow and moody beats along with ambient synths and samples that create a mysterious yet soothing vibe. The track feels like a noisy soundtrack to an experimental film—it’s really something that works!
Now listen to the pipe sound of the guitar and check out BUDDOG18 on Soundcolud and follow them to stay up to date on their latest releases!
10) IWLD – Correction Burn
IWLD is UK-based dream pop, post-rock, and an instrumental band that has just released a new single called Correction Burn. The song features guitar washed-out style and melodic electronic effects singing without vocals.
“We want our listeners to be able to interpret it how they want, it’s about expressing freedom with guitars too. As part of this release I invited my friend and fellow guitarist CJHJO to collaborate on the track and he did not disappoint.”
Correction Burn is a dreamy soundscape that’s perfect for chillout and soundtrack lovers. The way they created a blend of post-rock and shoegaze, without losing the melody, with just enough dreamy flavour, could make it uniquely beautiful. Check the artist on Spotify and follow them.
